« Damn, how can you work out 7x a week while building your company ? »
Easy.
I organize my life around what matters.
3 runs per week (looking forward to running a marathon on Nov 9 👀)
4 strength workouts
Every single one locked into my calendar, like meetings.
Here's how I structure my day to train and build BuddiesHR without burning out:
↳ Wake up naturally around 7:30 AM (no alarm, not a slave)
↳ Drink water, get straight to work
↳ Deep work and founder calls from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM
↳ Training from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM (run or gym depending on the day)
↳ Shower, lunch, walk the dog
↳ Back at it by 2:30 PM
↳ Work until 6:30 PM
↳ Evening with my partner, rest, recharge
↳ Optional sprint 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM (2–3 times a week)
That's it. Simple. Structured. Non-negotiable.
The mornings are sacred. That's where I ship, think, and move the business forward.
Afternoons are lighter, a few calls, async follow-ups, small tasks.
The key ? Prioritization.
If everything's important, nothing is.
If your calendar runs your life, you've already lost.
Working out isn't « extra », it's part of the job.
Your body carries your brain.
And your brain runs your company.
So yeah, if you can't handle your own day,
don't expect to handle a team, a product, or a market.
