« If you're not hustling 24/7, you're not a real founder. »
Me on Thursday afternoon:
---
Success is NOT just money.
But most VC-backed founders are too burned out to notice.
They chase rounds.
Burn relationships
Abuse their bodies
And most of them end up broke as f*ck. LOL.
Let’s get this straight:
If you’re bragging about grinding until 2am, you’re clowning yourself, not impressing anyone.
You want real success?
Here’s my take (and no, you don’t get to call yourself “successful” if you don’t check all three):
↳ Health
↳ Wealth
↳ Family
Miss one, you failed.
I don’t care if your logo is on Times Square.
The VC hamster wheel will have you believe sacrifice is sexy.
It’s not.
Ignoring your health?
Loser move.
Losing your family for the sake of some fake LinkedIn “hustle” badge?
That’s self-sabotage at scale.
Only chasing the money?
Enjoy being rich and miserable, it’s a Silicon Valley specialty.
Meanwhile, at BuddiesHR, I chase all three:
↳ Clear head, strong heart, time for my people
↳ Building actual wealth, not just burning cash for headlines
↳ Family > fake hustle. Every time.
Let’s be brutally honest:
If your startup demands you give up health or family, it’s already failing.
(even if your revenue isn’t.)
You want to impress me?
Show me the founder who’s fit, rich, and still tight with their loved ones.
THAT is the only definition of success worth chasing.
Otherwise, all you “crushing it” clowns are just one burned bridge (or doctor’s bill) away from losing everything that matters.
Miss the health, miss the family? Miss me with your “success story”.
Agree? Or did I hit a nerve?
