82% of companies are pushing for a return to in-person work...
(lol)
Now, we know that 82% of companies have toxic workplaces!
Many businesses that embraced #RemoteWork during the pandemic are now backpedaling on their decision.
Even Elon Musk has weighed in:
« 𝘙𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦. 𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘫𝘰𝘣. »
This rollback is not sitting well with everyone. (obviously)
Despite this, 32% of employees want to return to 100% in-office work. Do they like to be whipped? 😅
A Stanford study found that productivity can drop by 10-20%.
Why?
↳ Communication issues
↳ Connection problems
↳ Reduced creativity.
Remote workers were 30% less likely to get promoted in 2023 compared to their in-office colleagues.
And... 90% of (toxic?) CEOs admit they prefer advancing employees who are physically present.
Let's take a quick poll:
👉 Who's actually in favor of going back to the office?
