Amazon's CEO got it wrong about remote work...
When Amazon's CEO, Andy Jassy, said remote work « won't work out for you, » I couldn't disagree more.
I’ve experienced both sides—years in a traditional office and now as the CEO of a remote-first company.
Let me tell you, 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙞𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨 💅
Sure, there are late-night work sessions.
Sometimes, I’m standing at my desk to break the monotony.
But the #Freedom? Priceless.
Yes, I trade some nights for the joy of sipping a glass on a terrace by the Mediterranean.
Yes, I sometimes leave my workstation behind for a space that sparks my creativity.
Here’s what I know: People should have the freedom to work when it suits them best.
#RemoteWork is about #Flexibility.
It’s about finding what works 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 🫵, not fitting into someone else’s box.
Let’s keep it simple and effective.
