Last week, I compiled data on the core values of top startups (valuation >$150m).
Here's what I learned 👇
1️⃣ 35% of companies don't share their company values publicly.
2️⃣ The standard number of values typically falls between 3 and 6.
3️⃣ Top 5 company values are:
Customer centric - 41%
Ownership - 32%
Bias for action - 25%
Growth mindset - 19%
Team cohesion - 15%
4️⃣ 12% of startups use "Principles" instead of "Values."
Many argue that values alone may not be actionable enough, and they are right!
