"Mentoring is overrated, I can figure it out myself."
⬆️ That's what I thought...
Picture this: I was 21, launching my first business, and I thought:
"I don't need help from anyone. Especially not from those successful 30-year-olds. They probably wouldn't understand my business because it's so unique."
Oh boy, was I wrong!
If I could go back in time, I'd slap myself for thinking this.
I wasted so many months (maybe even years!) making avoidable and costly mistakes.
Then, one day, someone explicitly offered to be my mentor.
What do you think I did?
I declined, of course. LOL.
But then one day, I was desperate enough to take the call.
And you know what?
It. Fucking. Changed. My. Life.
Today? I'm chasing mentors like Pokémon.
I'm reading books (I still hate it) to load as many mistakes into my memory as I can and avoid them as much as possible.
Isn't that what we call maturity? Not sure 🙃
Last but not least, to close the loop, I started mentoring strangers online to help them launch their SaaS. If that's you, check me out on MentorCruise :)
Cheers ✌️
