Most SaaS teams build one big product.
We built 7. Why?
Because one big app is a nightmare inside Slack.
If you've ever tried to build complex UX in Slack, you know.
The UI components are limited. Clunky. Confusing.
You try to do too much in one app, and users get lost.
So we flipped the model.
At BuddiesHR, we built 7 standalone apps.
Each one solves a sharp, focused use case.
Each one lives in the Slack Marketplace with its own SEO, its own keywords, its own rankings.
↳ That gives us 7 acquisition channels
↳ 7 ways to deliver value without bloating the experience
↳ And the feeling, for customers, that they're getting a full suite — not a Frankenstein tool
It also allows us to price things fairly.
You want just one app? You pay just for that.
Not some $500/month all-in-one monster where you only use 1 feature.
Of course, people said it wasn't scalable.
And they were right... at first.
We had 4 different domain names.
4 blogs.
4 social media accounts.
4x the confusion, 0x the brand.
So we cleaned it up.
We created one brand to rule them all — BuddiesHR
Now it's all under one roof, one site, one identity.
But behind the scenes, the architecture stays modular.
Because it works.
The result?
Clarity for the user. Distribution for us.
And no need to fight Slack's UX with a bloated all-in-one.
