The only framework I've found that actually works when building a startup:
« Is [insert task here] going to increase revenue ? »
That's the question you should ask 10 times a day.
If the answer's not a clear YES, it's probably a waste of time.
Let's try it:
↳ Ship the MVP → YES
↳ Add Google Login → mmmhhhh nope
↳ Contact 50 people per day → YES
↳ Post on social media → mmmmmmhhhh nope (unless you already have an audience)
↳ Redesign your logo → are you fucking kidding me?
↳ A/B test button colors at 0 MRR → you deserve to fail
I mentor early-stage founders sometimes.
And on every call, I end up asking the same damn question:
« Does this make money? »
(And if not — why the fuck are you doing it?)
At BuddiesHR, we've asked this question over and over.
It helped us focus.
It helped us kill what didn't convert.
It helped us grow without burning out.
Founders overcomplicate everything.
But it's really this simple:
If it doesn't increase revenue, don't do it.
