Unpopular opinion: You don't need an idea to launch a business, let me explain ⬇️
I see a lot of people wanting to quit their jobs to launch their own business, but the #1 excuse I hear is: "I don't have an idea."
Multiple times in my career, I had no business idea and still managed to find one in a deterministic way with two methods.
𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱 #𝟭: 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻
Before working on BuddiesHR with Fabien, we only had one thing we were sure about: the mission of our new company would be "Make employees happy at work."
Now, make hypotheses, validate/invalidate them, come up with new hypotheses, and so on until you find an idea.
For us, the first hypothesis was: HR is mostly in charge of making employees happy at work through employee engagement/culture activities.
So we just sent DMs on LinkedIn to HR leaders to kindly ask them if they could help us figure out what we would build to achieve our mission.
You'd be surprised by the number of people accepting to help you :)
Now that you have those precious contacts, keep asking questions, iterating and don't forget to give back 😉
You'll end up finding an idea. For us, it was the birthday + recognition app.

Look at your network. Is it full of salespeople? Customer support agents? Real estate professionals?
Go interview them, ask them what their typical day looks like, how you could help them improve, and you'll soon figure out an idea of what to build.
Same process as Method #1, make hypotheses and so on.
Hope this is useful ✌️ Let me know in the comments!
