So, I saw a lot of headlines about leadership forcing their workforce to return to the office in the last few months. (๐คข)
Here are the 3 reasons I think it will be a total failure:

I hope for your sake your best talents love being at the office, otherwise, you'll end up with the employees that are trapped in your company (probably not the best performers).

If you need to see your reports to ensure they're working, you're totally f****d, really, I am sorry for you.
Please level up your game, read books about trust (even if it might sound like a very theoretical concept to you, I guess) and stop being a control freak (easier said than done, I know).

Don't get me wrong, I don't say it's easy to manage a team remotely. But you need to adapt, remote work is here to stay.
If you can't find an innovative way to make it work for your team, chances are innovation is dead within your team.
No innovation = no growth = your company is going to collapse.
