Would I do YC again?
Nope. (But not for the reason you think.)
Not because it wasn’t worth it.
Not because I regret it.
But because right now, I’m on a different path.
I’m building a bootstrapped business.
A business that I fully own.
A business that’s growing fast, profitably, and without external pressure.
WHY?
Because my goal isn’t to raise the next big round.
It’s to become a millionaire in the next 2-3 years.
With BuddiesHR, I’m on track to get there.
No dilution.
No investor expectations dictating my every move.
Just a clear, straight path to financial freedom.
Would I do YC again if I were going the VC route?
Yes. 100%. Absolutely.
If you're raising millions and aiming for a billion-dollar outcome, YC is the BEST accelerator in the world.
It opens doors, gives you credibility, and connects you with the right people to scale fast.
But if your goal is to own everything, scale profitably, and build long-term wealth?
Then bootstrapping might be the better play.
That’s the path I’m on.
Makes sense?
